Elio is a classically trained artist who studied at the prestigious Brooklyn Museum Art School. At the urging of his art teacher and mentor, he followed his dream of becoming an artist by submitting his portfolio and received a scholarship to attend the school.



Over the years Elio's art has manifested in many forms including still life's, pencil sketches, abstracts, digital art, and more. He loves the freedom of expressing himself in different styles and materials.



After seeing a few of Elio's wildlife pastels, a friend asked if he would draw a portrait of his pet. Creating the portraits is now one of Elio's favorite art projects.
